Tom Haverland is the Community Manager of Hanseatic Blockchain Institute, committed to fostering blockchain innovation and application in Germany and Europe. He is part of the team conducting the state-funded study W3NOW.DE, analysing the Blockchain-Penetration in Germany's Economy. Tom recently graduated from university where he researched the possible uses of blockchain technology in digital democracies with an emphasis on voting systems. In his thesis, he explored the potential of developing a voting system that allows for anonymous voting while still providing proof of vote inclusion.
