During a technology career spanning almost 3 decades, Nilesh has been involved in every aspect of developing and releasing commercial software products. He has been instrumental in launching new products like mobile POS - payPLUS and reengineering India’s largest coalition loyalty network - PAYBACK. He is a payments domain expert and has helped migrate on-premise license based payment processing products to cloud for Mastercard.

Nilesh has been a proponent of open-source and decentralization. In 2018, he started working on a blockchain concept that would result in a scalable, secure, and sustainable protocol. 4 years of research and 11 international patents have led to the development of the open-source public blockchain Archethic (https://archethic.net/). Archethic public blockchain has been designed for mass adoption and the vision is to give back to humanity the control over technology, and to each individual, control over their identity.

To simplify esoteric concepts like blockchain, cryptography and other such technologies, Nilesh co-hosts a #FunTech podcast called 3 Techies Banter, 3TB (https://3techiesbanter.com/). Along with his co-hosts he has launched a blockchain startup unblox (https://unblox.com/) that will help in realizing the Archethic vision by industrializing use-cases for mass adoption.
