Joel Curado is Managing Director of Business Development at Casper Labs. Joel has over 15 years experience in the technology industry and Smart Cities vertical having previously worked at Cisco Systems, in multiple roles, from Product Management to Corporate Strategy and in Business Development, as part of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration initiative for Switzerland, a Investment and Innovation fund for new solution development.

Joel is a PhD Candidate on Information Sciences and Technology on the topics of Decentralised Ledger Technologies and their applications in the enterprise and smart city spaces, he is an IE Business School Executive MBA Graduate, an Economist, specialised in Public Policy by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is an IE Business School Board Member for the Advisory Board of the Tech MBA as well as a Adjunct Professor at IE Business School in the topics of Smart Cities, Digital Transformation and Technology.
