The Hanseatic Blockchain Institute (HBI) aims to foster scientific work in the blockchain industry, focusing on developing innovative solutions, gathering insightful data, and enhancing the applicability of blockchain for widespread adoption. Through initiatives like the weekly "Blockchain Monday" sessions, we provide educational resources and promote knowledge sharing on the latest developments and applications of blockchain technology. Recordings of past sessions are accessible on Spotify and YouTube.
The current flagship project of the HBI is the W3NOW.DE study, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), to analyze existing and future use cases of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. This research will provide valuable insights into the German blockchain ecosystem and enable the formulation of recommendations to promote Germany's advantage in the field of blockchain technology.
